Under the dual drive of the "dual carbon" strategy and downstream industry upgrading, rubber extruders equipped with intelligent control systems and energy-saving technologies have become the mainstream in the market. The "2025 Rubber Machinery Industry Operation Monitoring Data" released by the China Chemical Machinery Industry Association shows that among the newly manufactured spiral rubber extruders this year, the proportion of first level energy-efficient products reached 68.4%, an increase of 41.2 percentage points from 2020, and the average energy consumption per unit product decreased by 19.7%.
The technological innovation of leading enterprises is reshaping industry standards. The new generation intelligent spiral extruder launched by Changzhou Tianyi Machinery has reduced energy consumption by 22% to 28% compared to traditional models through optimized screw structure design and variable frequency drive system. It is also equipped with an industrial Internet of Things interface, which can achieve remote operation and maintenance, fault warning, and adaptive adjustment of production parameters. After a certain tire enterprise applied this equipment, the scrap rate of the tread extrusion process decreased from 3.2% to 0.8%, saving over 800000 yuan in energy consumption costs annually.
International technological integration has accelerated industry transformation. The continuous rubber mixing solution recently launched by Steer World in India combines twin-screw extrusion granulation technology with wet pigment dispersion technology, increasing rubber production efficiency by 35%, reducing energy consumption by 18%, and controlling particle product performance consistency within ± 2%. This technology has been introduced and digested by domestic enterprises such as Qingdao Sihai Rubber Machinery, and applied to the transformation of production lines in segmented fields such as seals and rubber hoses.
The demand for 'high precision+low energy consumption' from downstream enterprises is becoming increasingly urgent. "The relevant person in charge of the Industrial Statistics Department of the National Bureau of Statistics pointed out that by 2025, 62.3% of rubber product enterprises will implement automation transformation, of which 48.7% will use spiral extruders as key updated equipment. It is expected that the national rubber extruder production will exceed 95000 units by 2026, and the proportion of intelligent energy-saving models will exceed 80%.
